When you consult with one of our GP’s either on the phone or by using Virtual Doctor, you can have the medication that the GP prescribes for you, sent directly to your home or work address.
How it works
Calls HSF Assist GP Advice Service.
HSF Assist Operator
Takes patient details, including name, address and contact number. Then, arranges a time for the GP to contact the patient either via phone or sends the link for the Virtual Doctor video consultation.
If, during the GP consultation, either over the phone or via Virtual Doctor video consultation, the doctor decides medication is needed, a prescription is sent to the Pharmacy Service.
Calls the patient to confirm the medication delivery and cost (medication + postage and packaging). If the patient is happy to proceed, the medication is despatched to the preferred address.
Medication is sent via special courier delivery.
Patient receives medication.
